Our founder, Megan, grew up surrounded by a strong community of “aunties” and “uncles” — the stallholders at her local hawker centre in Singapore. So, when the pandemic hit and she found herself unbearably homesick in London, she began recreating the dishes she missed from her tiny flat.

At the time, Megan was working as a lawyer - always on a time crunch. But she still wanted the fresh, rich, authentic flavours she grew up with, even on a weekday, so she began creating sauces that could deliver bold flavour quickly and easily.
